There are many reasons why I started modeling. One being no model looked like me here in San Diego.
While researching photographers to work with, majority of the local creatives I found only worked with models who were size 0 with thigh gaps or not POC.
I believe that beauty comes with no size or race.
In a world full of commercialized perspectives, I wanted to have an unorthodox approach that speaks volumes.
I started to become down within myself until I decided to transform the narrative.
